Take flight in our Hot Air Balloon and experience the majestic beauty of nature from a unique perspective. Our balloon is made from fire retardant, tear-resistant Nylon fabric and comes with a durable basket for a safe and comfortable ride. Enjoy the freedom of a silent journey up in the sky!
Unlike other tourist destinations famous for their hot air balloon rides, Vang Vieng's airspace is not overcrowded with balloons. The best time to get the gorgeous views of the town is near dawn and dusk, when the rising and setting sun paints the sky a soft golden hue.
Flight duration:
The standard flight duration for SUNRISE: 35 - 60 minutes. ( High Demand )
The standard flight duration for SUNSET: 20-30 minutes.
Please note that we will pick you up at your hotel or resort and also bring you back after the flight.
Sunrise pickup time: 5:30 - 5:45 am ( High Demand )
Sunset pickup time: 16:30 - 16:45 pm
PS: We recommend to book the Hot Air Balloon in advance before you will arrive due the high demand!!!
FYI: Full REFUND in case of cancellation
Hot air balloon flights are fully weather dependant, and only the pilot may determine whether or not to fly. We have the right to cancel a trip due to poor weather conditions at any point before to takeoff, or if the balloon does not have enough passengers.
If a flight is cancelled by the operator and cannot be rescheduled, the client will get a full refund of the fare price (depending on availability). We are not responsible for any charges or expenditures incurred by the customer in the event of a flight cancellation.

We had a great time and yet the flight did not last 30 minutes, unlike the 50-60 minutes announced.
We were supposed to be 8 but we flew at 15.
In addition, for a similar price, others provide the flight time, a snack at breakfast and a thank you drink after the flight.
Being in the air for 20 minutes still deserves 2 stars.

Absolutely incredible. I have been wanting to do one for years and they lived up to the expectations. Beautiful scenery beautiful flight excellent company. Such an amazing experience! With not many reviews I was hesitant to book through the website but took the risk and so glad we did! Everything was seamless from start to finish. There was plenty of space for everyone on the ride and the pilot even offered to take photos for everyone! It was one of the few companies that offered flights longer than 30 minutes as well so definitely a bonus! I can’t recommend this experience enough! Thankyou :)

What an experience! I booked the sunrise tour with Sysay from Vang Vieng Shuttle Service and was very happy about it. The booking was straightforward, and the service was super friendly.
